I live in the West Midlands. Stoke on Trent in Staffordshire. As far as US taxes go, you will be exempt from the first $80,000 you earn here if paying UK taxes, which you will. There is an additional form to fill out when sending your tax form back to the US. Be prepared for different housing from what you are used to. The yards are small, most houses are two story, and somewhat smaller than the average suburban home back in the US.
