My US passport with a UK "Indefinite leave" visa expires soon. Anyone have experience with getting the same visa in the new passport? At Heathrow they told me they no longer do that at the counters there. Do I have to go to Croydon and if so is it just a formality? Reply to hughro2@yahoo.com appreciated.
