Federation of American
Women's Clubs Overseas!

The Federation of American Women's Clubs Overseas Inc. is an international network of 75 independent clubs with a combined membership of over 17,000 women in 34 countries worldwide. It serves as a support network for American women living and working abroad and is particularly active in the fields of U.S. citizens' concerns, education, environmental protection, and women's and children's rights.

American Domestic Violence Crisis Line

The American Domestic Violence Crisis Line, 866-USWOMEN, (866-879-6636) is a national & international toll free domestic violence crisis line that abused American women & children can call.  So far this year we have been contacted by abused American women & children living in France, Italy, England, Ireland, Ethiopia, Dominican Republic, Finland, Iran, Chile, Holland, Jordan, Canada, Philippines, Mexico, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. In addition to providing domestic violence advocacy, safety planning and case management, we have assisted clients with relocation expenses, emergency funds for housing and childcare, and payment of legal fees.


Association of American
Wives of Europeans

AAWE was founded in 1961 to protect the citizenship rights of Americans married to Europeans and the children of these bicultural and bilingual families. 
AAWE promotes American culture in this context and assists in resolving needs specific to its permanent resident membership.
AAWE strives to strengthen understanding among peoples of America, France and Europe on both a personal and cultural level.


American Overseas Memorial Day Association

The American Overseas Memorial Day Association is dedicated to remember and honor the memory of those who gave their lives in World Wars I and II, and whose final resting places are in American Military Cemeteries or in isolated graves in local cemeteries in Europe. “Lest We Forget” that we live, work and travel in Europe today because THEY made the ultimate sacrifice to reopen the way of freedom.

AARO is a volunteer, non-partisan service organization representing the interests of more than 4.1 million Americans living and working abroad. AARO's mission is to ensure that Americans abroad are guaranteed the same rights and privileges as their U.S. counterparts.
